Crop vs. Full Frame sensor DSLR camera choice

Crop vs. Full Frame sensor DSLR camera choice Tube. Duration : 9.72 Mins.

Just touching on some of the benefits and things to consider when choosing either a crop sensor (APS-C) DSLR over their full frame counterparts. For this discussion, I have my D7000, a 1.5 crop factor APS-C camera and the full frame FX Nikon D700. Benefits of crop sensor are: - Less expensive - Built in magnification sensor crop facotor - Lighter and smaller - Uses central sweet spot of lenses Advantages of full frame: - Better low light and dynamic range performance - Wide angles lenses are true focal length - Usually more pro features in the camera body
